Candor Entertainment, is a small independent production company located in San Diego County, CA. This ground up project with state of the art equipment and a first-class studio was finished in late 2016.
The set included an anchor desk and mobile riser that was designed to breakdown and be stored for maximum flexibility on a small stage. The large, hi-res LED screen in the center allows for backgrounds to change as shows develop over time. The design was created with custom lighting effects and materials to give a late-night talk show atmosphere.
One of the unique features of this design are the multiple seating positions for the host. This concept allows for a single host show with a center seating position or for an interview style program with up to three guests in another position. Video in the center of the desk and changeable backgrounds along with the color changing lighting effects makes this one of most flexible small studios BDI has completed.
